I know people reckon ali would have beaten tyson but i just do not see it..i believe tyson in his prime would have beaten ali..diffrent styles for sure but nobody had the fury of tyson..nobody frightened boxers the way tyson did.
To be honest they all look like very hard punchers to me. A small innocuous jab to the belly, never mind one lower or to my precious head, and I would be down for a month. Personally, I would rather spend my entire life delivering groceries than put my body anywhere near a boxing ring
interesting this guys first probably real test was Iron Mike and he gave it all he had and realized i have to go to another level with this guy..give him credit for going toe to toe with Tyson and taking his shots and still not backing down you dont see that foten especially from Tysons opponents later in his career they all were appearing scare donly in there for maybe a quick paycheck like McNeely and such they feared Tyson this guy didnt and went right for him..it didnt work out for him sadly for him but Tyson was better and stronger...so he didnt fight all no names he stopped this young buck in his tracks when no-one else could.
not like today when champions are scared of each other and avoid fights like wilder and joshua... That tyson gave roddick even a second fight says all about his mindset and greatness
Those two fights we awesome..both power punchers..alot of.people dont realize..tyson beat a prime ruddock and razor wasnt the same after their..so when people say who did tyson beat?..im like wtf..really?..look up the fights..
I'm 71 y/o and saw all the fights that happened back then. These two fights are some of the BEST ones, back in the day. Two of the all time great heavyweights.
I met Tyson in person twice. First of all, incredibly nice guy, Second I was shocked at how small he was in real life which makes his exploits even more awesome.

I feel sympathized to Ruddok because he looks very kind and humble, only thing is he has poor defense other wise he is a good boxer, but Tyson has killer instinct he just want to kill the opponent
Funniest thing about Tyson..... he wasn't all that big and he actually had a bit of a glass jaw. For most boxers that combo is usually a death sentence to being any kind of a champion for very long if at all. Fortunately Tyson had a awesome trainer and his defense skills were second to none, was much smarter than he seemed to be and happened to be blessed with reflexes a cat would be envious of. Add the ability to hit like a truck to that mix and you have the best boxer the world has ever seen..... still.
Iron Mike was actually an honorable sportsman most of the time showing genuine concern for many of his opponents over the course of his early years and always returned respect when it was earned....... that is until Don King's worthless ass got ahold of him.

80's & 90's was probably the last decades of hard hitting, aggressive, most physical boxing beasts to step in the ring. And back then you had to beat the best to prove that your the best.
