Richard Rider IS Nova. The way the comics crossed the Civil War with Annihilation was just amazing. The way he dunks on Iron Man and pretty much calls it all a petty fight when cosmic Annihilation is happening. The way Tony Stark refuses to believe Richard Rider because he didn't track anything happening just highlights the narcissism of Stark. A young Nathan Fillion would have been perfect.

I would like a nova movie but with the john c Reilly's character. I mean I have never read nova but it hemos a great actor and it would be fun to have a super hero without a perfect body and more than 5 percent body fat. It would have been stupid to not have him fight thanos in endgame if he was really in endgame..in fact it was stupid to have ironman as the final fight and not have the most powerful people (thor, scarlet witch, hulk, nova, captain marvel, adam warlock, dr strang, etc.) fight thanos to get the stones away from him in the final battle.... if disney so worried about making their money back they should let marvel do the movies the right way and not hire director(s) trying to make name for themselves by rewriting established storylines from the comics

Scarlet witch did not get her powers from an infinity stone. In the comics she's a mutant. Of course the movies couldn't use that. Maybe now they will be able to. But in the movies she was enhanced. Otherwise the Nova movie sounds really cool

Here’s my pitch for a Nova movie (Btw I don’t read much Comics so I’m kinda making stuff up) The opening scene is Thanos, the Black Order, and Chitauri battling the Nova Corps. (This movie will be Sam Alexander and not Richard Rider) Nova Prime tells corpsmen Dey to find a ship and escape with Sam, so he might revive the order later on. But Garthaan Saal betrays the Novs Corps and kills the guards and Nova prime, giving Thanos the Orb. Before Thanos leave he asks for a fraction of the power stones power, so he can have an ultimate weapon. Next, Sam & Dey have to make a stop on a random planet (you pick which one) before they head to Earth, in this scene we have time for world building, and seeing other cultures. But as Sam enters a shop he sees the clerk fade away, and looks behind him a sees Dey fade away as well! For the next 5 years Sam, does some soul searching, helping the poor, feeding many people, and fighting for them. After a little montage he sits down and we see the crawl “5 years later” it’s daylight, and he’s walking around then turns around and sees Dey again, then run and hug each other. They get in the ship and head to Earth, where they land at Avengers headquarters where Nick Fury & Maria Hill are. As Fury sees Sam’s power, and knows who should train him, he calls in Captain Marvel. But random aliens show up to capture Sam, and as they nearly succeed Marvel shows up and obliterates them. Marvel is bad at the Nova Corps for harvesting raw power like Sam’s for their own benefit, but Dey says it’s just for, the people’s own good. Later Marvel asks how he has the powers, and Dey explains the helmet grants the powers, Dey also explains how Sam’s father was once a fighter. Sam, tells them what happens, and how he died. So, Richard was in New York during the battle of New York, and he goes up the portal to stop the mothership, but he sees Tony’s nuke headed towards the ship, as he tries to fly down it’s too late, he takes the helmet off and throws it down to Sam, before he officially dies. Then, Marvel agrees to train Sam, and he agrees while Dey stays on Earth, Marvel & Sam head to space. Next we get a beautiful montage of Marvel training Sam, and how much his powers are growing. Finally, Marvel has a mission for Sam, as the Chitauri plan to invade Xandar, the two head to stop them. But as they start taking them down, Sam somehow gets a vision of all the distraction Garthaan is causing to civilians. So, for a minute he loses his powers and comes flying back to the ground. Afterwards he confronts Garthaan, and the two battle it out, before Garthaan nearly kills Sam. The Guardians of the Galaxy show up and take him out for good. Sam, returns to Earth, and has a dance with the girl he loves..... the end. (It’s not great, so give as much feedback as possible.)

The short shot of the Russo’s talking about Richard Rider been in the back ground, they have a couples of figurines on the table in front of themes, they could at least put some Hot toys that look so good , instead of thoses cheap one. Nova should be a movie just like Spider-Man, John c Reilly escapes earth being the last person from The nova core and lands on earth, knowing he’s weak he gives the last of his power and the nova core to a normal kid and he learns to use it, somewhat like green lantern

If I had to guess, they'll use/introduce him later on, right after phase 4, i think. If what I belive to be true, happens, then they're gonna go for a Secret Invasion Story-line, he'll be introduced to the guardians first, OR, they won't use him yet and save him for a Anihilation Story ark, where he was very prominent, but they'll have to kill off the guardians to maki this fit in the actual story

Nova/ Richard Ryder could appear in Captain Marvel 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy 3, depending on when they find the right actor. When Richard Ryder is given his powers, he might need a couple steps of growth in the mcu before getting his own movie.
